One of the main health institutions in the South of Brazil, Dona Helena Hospital during more than 100 years of existence, has been transforming and improving health care. Located on a constructed area of 41 thousand square meters and on a technological park, which is constantly being updated, the institution offers a wide range of well-trained professionals, services, and exams, as well as a wide range of expertise. Certifications
and Acknowledgments

Dona Helena Hospital was one of the first hospitals in the country to have all its processes certified by ISO standards. It is also a pioneer in adapting its system to ISO 9001/2000 – version 2008.

In 2014, it reached another important milestone: Accreditation by the Joint Commission International (JCI), the world’s largest accrediting body in the healthcare area, becoming the first institution in Santa Catarina State to be awarded with the Gold Seal.

In 2020 it reached the NPS index of 70% and was consecrated as “Institution of the Decade” in the Prêmio Excelência da Saúde 2020 (2020 Health Excellence Award), from Grupo Mídia, for its centennial history and outstanding services to Brazilian health. The NPS index is a methodology created by the American Fred Reichheld, which measures the degree of customer satisfaction and loyalty to companies and institutions.

In 2021, Dona Helena Hospital was included in the ranking of the best hospitals in the world, according to Newsweek magazine.
